The spice-spiced cinnamon pudding is a sweet, savory treat that is a staple of Indian desserts.
This recipe makes a tasty addition to your Thanksgiving dinner or any other festive occasion.

(5 mL) sugar 2 cups (2 L) heavy whipping cream (or other dairy-free cream) 2 eggs, at room temperature 2 cups milk, at 100% fat content 1/2 cup (180 mL) light brown sugar, at 120% fat Content of your cinnamon dessert: 1 cup cinnamon, crushed 1/4 cup (35 mL) all-purpose flour (or a similar liquid) 2 cups sugar, sifted (or 1/8 tsp salt) 1/3 cup (60 mL) cornstarch (or 2 tsp salt, or 1/5 tsp cinnamon) 2 tbsp (15 ml) cinnamon flavoring (optional) Instructions: In a medium bowl, whisk together the water, cinnamon, sugar, and cinnamon flavouring until smooth.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cornstech, salt, and the eggs.
Stir until thoroughly combined.
Fold in the milk and stir well until thoroughly incorporated.
Add the cinnamon mixture and stir just until combined.
Pour into a greased 9×13 pan or an ovenproof pan, and bake for about 25 minutes.
In the refrigerator, prepare your cinnamon pudding by heating in the microwave for about 15 minutes.
While the pudding is baking, make the chocolate pudding.
Mix together the sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth and creamy.
Pour the pudding into a small dish or bowl.
Place a bowl over the cream and let it cool slightly.
In your favorite blender, blend until smooth until it is very creamy.
You may need to add a bit more water if you have a thick cream.
(The pudding will be thick but will be more smooth than the pudding you used to make it.)
Add the vanilla extract and blend until the vanilla is incorporated.
Pour this into a large bowl and stir to combine.
If the pudding looks thin, add more water or sugar if necessary.
Add in the cinnamon and mix well until combined and the chocolate is melted.
Pour your cinnamon cake into the bowl of your mixer and mix until smooth, then spoon into a serving dish.
Serve warm with your favorite holiday desserts.
Notes: If you prefer to use your favorite cinnamon flavoured cream instead of the vanilla, add 1 tsp of cinnamon flavor in the last 2 teaspoons of your cream.
If you are making this for a group, it may be a good idea to use a smaller bowl.
