Paleo Dressing with Dressing Ingredients for Low Carb Dressing Low Carb Sweet Potato Salad: 2 sweet potatoes, chopped into bite sized pieces 2 cups water 1/2 cup coconut oil 1/4 cup coconut flour 1 tablespoon coconut sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup coconut milk 1 teaspoon coconut butter 1 tablespoon olive oil 3 cups vegetable broth or water 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1/8 teaspoon paprika 1/6 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/5 teaspoon papain salt and pepper to taste Directions for Paleo Dining Salad Dressing: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 1 tablespoon oil, and 1 teaspoon of coconut sugar.
Place 1/16 cup of the coconut oil into the skillet and stir.
Once the oil is heated add the sweet potatoes.
Stir until soft.
Add the water and stir until the potatoes are coated.
Cook the potatoes until they’re tender and crisp.
Remove from the heat.
Remove the sweet potato slices from the skillet.
Add them to a bowl and toss to coat.
Add remaining coconut oil and coconut sugar to the skillet, and stir well.
Add coconut milk and coconut butter and stir to combine.
Add a bit of salt and freshly ground pepper to the mixture.
Add chopped sweet potato to the bowl of dressing.
Serve warm with a spoonful of the dressing.
This Paleo Dress will keep for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
Notes This recipe is for a Low Carb Salad and can be made with coconut milk, coconut flour, coconut sugar, coconut butter, olive oil, or vegetable broth.
