To make this recipe, we used this recipe on our blog to make it in advance and then it came together in just a few hours.
If you want to get really creative, you can even use bananas as the basis for a cake!
Here’s how we made it:1.
Combine bananas and baking powder in a bowl.2.
Combine the water and cinnamon powder in the bowl and stir well.3.
Add the applesaucer to the bowl along with the bananas and stir to combine.4.
Pour the apple cider and water mixture over the banana slices.5.
Pour batter onto the bottom of a pan or baking sheet, and bake for about 20 minutes or until the banana splits are golden brown and the banana mixture has melted.
The cake will be crisp on the outside, but soft on the inside.
