The NFL Draft is coming to New York City on Thursday.
The league announced that the New York Giants will select Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield with the No. 3 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Mayfield is a four-star recruit who went to Oklahoma with the nation’s No. 2 and No. 13 recruiting classes.
He was the No, 1 and No, 3 prospects in the state of Oklahoma when he visited the Big 12 Conference.
Mayfields final four games for the Sooners were a total of nine.
Mayfield threw for 4,062 yards, 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Mayweather’s recruiting class has a combined 247Sports Composite rating of 12.25.
Mayville, who has yet to make his official visit to the NFL Scouting Combine, is a former two-time All-American and is ranked as the No 7 quarterback prospect in the country.
He is ranked in the Top 15 in the ESPN 100.
May, who attended the Oklahoma State University football program as a wide receiver, has one of the most polished offensive schemes in the nation.
He’s led Oklahoma to a 6-4 record and is the top rated quarterback in the Big 10.
May’s recruitment also includes former Oklahoma State quarterback Nick Marshall, who committed to the Sooner program this past summer.
The top five quarterbacks in the draft are selected in the first round.
The top five receivers in the second round are selected after the fourth round.
